‘House’ won’t be featuring Lisa Edelstein in the final season of the show.

According to reports, Edelstein, is unlikely to appear in medical drama series finale. Edelstein portrays the role of Dr. Cuddy, who plays opposite Dr. House portrayed by Hugh Laurie.

In previous reports, Fox had announced the possibility of Dr. Cuddy and House reuniting in ending of the show after eight years of airing. However, sources suggest that the 44-year old star won’t be seen in the said episode.

Edelstein left the long running drama series May last year to pursue other roles. The actress said that she has many projects which have kept her busy and that she hasn’t talked to anyone about the series finale. She added that she doesn’t want to leave false hopes.

‘House’ series finale will air on May 21 on FOX television.
