The usual start of each episode is a mysterious, and ‘incurable’ case given to House and his team; Foreman, Cameron, and Chase. He tests them to identify what was exactly wrong with the patient, with at the start ends wrong, but as they get into the subject they get more hints as to what the patient’s real case is. To add more twist to the already interesting way of revealing the case, the cure seems to appear in the most irrelevant times; when House was sleeping, etc.

His unusual practice of sending his ‘team’ to break into the houses of their charge, and unnecessary flood of insults and bluntness, only proves that House is still the same cold-hearted person he was in season 1. This also shows that people around him are already used to it; his boss, Cuddy, Best friend Wilson, and his team. In season 2, the opening storyline for House was his search for his ex-wife, Stacey—with terrible outcomes.
